Dr James Tran

MEET DR. JAMES TRAN

Dr James Tran, or "JT" as his patients call him by, is an associate dentist in the Central Coast during the week and in Sydney on weekends. He is also currently a clinical tutor at Charles Sturt University. Previously a Computer engineer, James switched careers and graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014. He is currently going through his orthodontic learning and has just started on his implant learning journey.

MEET JOANNE LING AND KYLIN SHI FROM AUSTRALIAN DENTAL STUDENTS' ASSOC. (ADSA)

The Australian Dental Students’ Association (ADSA) is the only national body to represent all dental, oral health therapy and hygiene students in Australia. ADSA aims to foster communication between the various schools, support its members throughout their course and keep all dental students informed of issues affecting their student life and the dental profession.

Dr Jesse Liang

MEET DR. JESSE LIANG

Dr. Jesse Liang graduated with a Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University. He previously lived in Bendigo, where he treated dental patients in regional Victoria. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in the areas of oral health education, teaching, research, children’s dentistry and gum treatments.

He has also previously been involved in Dental Volunteering programs in rural Vietnam. Outside of dentistry Jesse is the host and founder of Odontojam, and enjoys playing guitar, recording music and running!

Dr Dean Licenblat

MEET DR. DEAN LICENBLAT

Dr. Licenblat has been in private practice in Sydney, Australia since graduating from the University of Sydney’s Dental program. He went on to complete a master’s degree in oral implantology & bone grafting from Goethe University in Frankfurt; He now holds a teaching appointment at Goethe, where he is responsible for tutoring the university’s graduate students in Australia and New Zealand.

His special interest is bone grafting, where he applies innovative solutions to complex problems and is always up-to-date on the latest concepts & techniques.

As a member of numerous dental societies and an unparalleled dedication to continuing education Dr. Licenblat often attends post-graduate educational programs both locally and abroad.

Dr Su Lin Lim

MEET DR. SU LIN LIM

She is a passionate and friendly dentist who has focused her area of practice to dental implants, dento-alveolar surgery and aesthetic rehabilitations. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the UWA, she has since trained with a number of Specialists around the world in the fields of bone grafting, sinus augmentation, smile design and All-on-4 rehabilitations.

She is a member of the Australian Osseointegration Society, a provider for Invisalign and giDE Dental Institute clinician. Su Lin is committed to improving the oral health and smiles of all her patients and regularly attends professional development courses to stay updated on the latest dental advances.

Dr Parnian Zareie

MEET DR. PARNIAN ZAREIE

I’m your host, Laurence Doan, and today we are joined by Dr Parnian Zareie.

Dr Parnian Zareie was originally born in Sydney, raised in Adelaide and completed her high school and university in Perth. She studied a Bachelor of Science degree at UWA majoring in Pharmacology. She then continued on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with distinction.

During her degree she was awarded multiple prizes for her academic and clinical excellence in areas such as operative dentistry (general restorative dentistry) and periodontics (treatment of gum disease). She was also awarded the Australian Dental Association of WA prize for excellence in leadership in dentistry, for her high levels of academic achievement and involvement in the dental community.

She has several years of experience within rural and city practices, both private and public. She is a lover of surgical extractions and injectables.

Dr Amelia Judson

MEET DR. AMELIA JUDSON

Originally from Bogan Gate, she decided at the age of 12 that dentistry was for me. She graduated from Charles Stuart University in Orange, where she discovered her musical talents in DJ-ing. She was professionally signed with a Sydney management team. She played to a huge crowd at the Future Music Festival on her 20th birthday.

However, the club scene wasn’t for her and soon after graduating joined Smile Solution Collin Street in Melbourne, before eventually transitioning back to Sydney to work alongside Dr Fadi Yassmin at FY smile in Double Bay. Her special interest lies in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.

She deeply cherishes the relationships that she and her team forms with her patients, and feels privileged that they allow her into a space that is so personal and intimate.

Dr Rohan Krishnan

MEET DR. ROHAN KRISHNAN

He is currently an Honorary Clinical Associate Lecturer at The University of Sydney and is a board director and councillor of the Australian Dental Association NSW and board director of Filling the Gap (Dental Charity). He also regular writes articles for the North Shore Times, Mosman Daily and NSW Dentist.

Rohan graduated from the University of Sydney with honours and has built a strong reputation over the years and he takes pride in delivering evidence-based dentistry. He takes time to get to know his patients, and makes sure they are well informed and in control of their oral health. Rohan's clinical interests include preventative and restorative dentistry, endodontics and oral surgery.

Dr James Andrews

MEET DR JAMES ANDREWS

Born in Ireland. Dental undergraduate University of Dundee (Grad 2000). Post grad diplomas in Dental implants, orthodontics and restorative.

Started up dental practice in Edinburgh UK, before moving to WA after meeting his wife Emma. He was part owner of 3 dental practices in Western Australia, and then returned to school (UBC in Vancouver) in 2018 to study his passion orthodontics (3 yr full time masters in craniofacial science and orthodontics). His area of interest is in evidence based orthodontic care and the utilisation of digital technology to enhance precise diagnosis, planning and treatment outcomes.

He has returned to Perth to work as an orthodontist and will continue his clinical research and teaching. In his free time, he taxi his two beautiful kids to sports and is an avid surfer, snowboarder and a keen golfer.

Dr Agnes Lai

MEET DR. AGNES LAI

Currently, Agnes practices prosthodontics in private practice at Sydney Prosthodontic Group, Chatswood, as well as a clinical specialist at Westmead Oral Restorative Sciences Department in the Public Sector.

Agnes had been a past Lecturer of Oral Rehabilitation at USYD where she was involved in both undergraduate and post-graduate teaching of prosthodontics and dental implants. She has been a past convener of a 5-day Continuing Education Program for Prosthodontics at USYD. She currently maintains an ongoing Clinical Educator role in the discipline of prosthodontics to Doctorate of Dental Medicine via her role at the teaching hospital. Agnes has served on the federal executive of the Australian Prosthodontic Society in the past, and is currently serving as a State Representative for the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontics.
