MEET DR GEORGE CHEN
Born in China, but grew up in Sydney, Australia. Studied a year of Bachelor of Oral Health in USYD before transferring to study Dentistry in Adelaide (2017 Graduate with a concurrent honors degree in Geriatric dentistry).
Moved back to Sydney as a first year graduate and completed the Primaries exam, while working in private clinics around Sydney before recently starting his own clinic last year in 2020.
Current CPD focuses are in orthodontics, surgical extractions, and practice management.

MEET DR KHALED AHMED
Khaled Ahmed is a senior lecturer in prosthodontics at Griffith University. He is also an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and delivers the RACDS Masterclass in clinical examination techniques and dental imaging, as part of the college’s CPD program.
As an avid believer in lifelong learning, Khaled’s professional development journey spanned the USA, UK, and Hong Kong for the past 17 years of his career. His expertise are in digital dentistry and tooth wear.

MEET DR VIVEK REDDY ALAGATI
Dr Vivek Alagati’s always wanted to be a doctor, but also had a desire to be creative. Dentistry was a judicious blend of both scientific knowledge & artistic skills, which challenged him. Dr Viv earned a Bachelor of Dental Science from RGUHS in India in 2005 and cleared the exams to become a member of the Australian Dental Council. He continues to stay abreast of the latest in dentistry, by regularly taking many continuing education courses. To date, he’s taken ones in full mouth rehab, wisdom teeth extraction, and dental implants. For him, there’s nothing more fulfilling than helping his patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
He has considerable expertise in a broad array of dental services including cosmetic restorative treatments, implants & surgical extractions. He treats patients under sedation and manages dental treatment in hospitals under general anaesthesia.
Besides dentistry , Dr Viv enjoys nurturing his creative side through poetry writing, dancing & photography.

MEET DR RICHARD COOPER
Dr Richard Cooper graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 1978. Dr Cooper went on to join his father at his family-focused dental clinic in Morley, and Richard took over the business after Geoff retired. Richard spent nearly 40 years working hard as a dentist and small business owner before retiring in 2014.
Now retired, Dr Cooper enjoys golf, fishing, playing with the dog and giving his daughter Dr Grace dental advice whenever he gets the chance.

MEET DR BING WEI LEE
Dr Bing Lee graduated grew up in Singapore before embarking on his dental degree at UQ, graduating in 2013. He started a dental practice from scratch in 2015 in Launceston, TAS and grew it to a 10 chair practice with 10 clinicians in 5 years. He practices a wide range of procedures and has a passion for surgical and reconstructive dentistry with a particular emphasis on utilising innovative digital technologies to provide superior outcomes for patients.
He is also passionate about mentoring, having taught in multiple courses Australia wide and engaging in mentoring programs with the new/recent graduates in his practice.

MEET DR DAVID BASSAL
• He completed his dental degree at Griffith Uni. in 2010
• Currently owns and operates Warnervale Dental (3.5 yrs) and Mingara Dental and Implant Centre (in its 1st year)
• Am part Co-founder of the Australasian Implant Academy
• And Co-founder of the Australian Dental and Implant group now with 10 dental surgeries
• He has dedicated his continuing education specifically in the fields of cosmetic smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitation.

MEET FIONA KELLY
She graduated from UWA in 1991, with the Convocation and Paediatric Dental Awards. Dr Kelly worked in the Dental School of UWA for many years, primarily in the undergraduate training program in regional WA.
After this, she worked in Perth for 7 years with extensive training in general, cosmetic dentistry and implant placement and restoration. She has particular interest in preventative dentistry. Since then, she has moved to Melbourne where she continues to practice.

MEET MARIA AVIS
Dr Maria Avis graduated from Sydney University in 1998. Since then she has been working in a number of private practices in Sydney gaining experience and expanding her knowledge of various fields of the profession.
This included 3 years in a specialist prosthodontic practice of her university professor, 3 years in a specialist orthodontic practice under the supervision of a prominent Sydney orthodontist, 3 years (and currently) a specialist practice restricted to implantology and over 10 years in a large CBD group practice which offered all aspects of dentistry under the same roof.
In 2015 Dr Maria Avis started her own independent dental practice in Bondi Junction, focusing on implantology and cosmetic dentistry.
