MEET DR. MOHIT TOLANI
He is a regional dental surgeon based in Dapto, New South Wales, who, in addition to undertaking professional development studies and leadership commitments ranging across nationally, has altruistically devoted his time to various career and community initiatives. Mohit graduated as a dentist from Griffith University in the Gold Coast. More recently, also completed a double degree of Master of Public Health and Master of Health Management from UNSW and Graduate Certificate in Health and Medical Leadership from The University of Wollongong. After finishing his dental education, Mohit worked as a hospital dental surgeon at Goulburn Valley Health hospital in Shepparton, rural Victoria gaining a myriad of dental clinical experiences; enjoying all components of general dentistry.

MEET DR. NADER SISTAN
Recent graduate of 2019 from La Trobe University. Practicing in regional area West Gippsland (Warragul) professional interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Grew-up in a dental family with father being a dental professional and managing his own practice.

MEET DR. BEN LEE
Ben completed his MDSc in Prosthodontics from the University of Sydney. During this time, he was given the Young Prosthodontist Award by The International College of Prosthodontists. He is past President of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (NSW) and Australian Asian Association of Dentists.
He is a mentor for implant diploma courses offered by the USYD and CSU. In addition, being a visiting honorary Clinical Lecturer at the USYD and a frequent presenter for Nobel Biocare, Ben frequently presents on the topic of dental implants and fixed prosthodontics nationally.
As a prosthodontist, Ben works full-time in his referral based specialist centre in Chatswood, Sydney, with particular interest in the surgical and restorative aspects of dental implant treatment.

MEET DR. LEO LANDER
Dr Leo Lander has been practicing dentistry overseas for a decade, the last 2 years being in Oral and MaxilloFacial Surgery before relocation to the Southern Hemisphere.
Then, he has moved to Dunedin NZ in early 2014 to undertake specialist training at the University of Otago in the field of Periodontology.
Upon graduation in 2016, Leo has been practicing the full scope of Periodontics and Implantology in Adelaide SA.

MEET DR. HELEN MARCHANT
Helen has worked in the Special Needs Unit at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne for the past 17 years and in private practices dedicated to Special Needs Dentistry since 2011. She has also held appointments as visiting specialist to the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre and demonstrator for the University of Melbourne (SND). In 2020 she became a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Helen has developed a particular interest in treating people with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy, and also enjoys assisting older people who may have complex medical histories and/or dementia. She has a holistic approach towards dentistry, developing treatment plans to suit each person’s individual needs.

MEET DR. LISA LIU
Growing up, Dr. Lisa Liu has always known that she wanted to be a dentist. Lisa grew up in Hamilton New Zealand before moving over to Brisbane to study dentistry, graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours in 2016. Since then she’s worked in Brisbane, and now works in Brisbane West.
Taking pride in upskilling and keeping up to date with the latest trends, Lisa has attended multiple courses over the last five years. Lisa has a particular passion for restorative work, especially cosmetic and rehab cases.
On the side Lisa also teaches Pilates, and will soon be embarking on a yoga teacher training journey.

MEET DR. AMANDA PHOON NGUYEN
She is a Perth Oral medicine specialist, PhD candidate, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, and Consultant at Perth Children’s Hospital. She is passionate about oral medicine, and her professional roles include co-chair of the Australasian Sleep Association Dental Sleep Medicine Council, on the Board of Studies in Oral Medicine, Editor and Examiner of RACDS, and is Treasurer of ADA WA.
She is secretary of the RACDS WA, Vice President of the Dental Specialists Society of WA, Treasurer of the IADR Perth region, and on many other committees. She represents her specialty at several multidisciplinary meetings and at the Ehlers Danlos Society. Her other roles include Director of a not-for-profit Foundation focused on cancer research, and is a mascot with the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.
