MEET DR. HELEN MARCHANT
Helen has worked in the Special Needs Unit at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne for the past 17 years and in private practices dedicated to Special Needs Dentistry since 2011. She has also held appointments as visiting specialist to the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre and demonstrator for the University of Melbourne (SND). In 2020 she became a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Helen has developed a particular interest in treating people with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy, and also enjoys assisting older people who may have complex medical histories and/or dementia. She has a holistic approach towards dentistry, developing treatment plans to suit each person’s individual needs.
